Enlighten Us All; Enlighten Us Now
Jesus' disciples looked to him for enlightenment. They asked him, "Teach us to pray." "Show us the Father." "...We don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
Their questions are also ours today: How does our individual prayer and our common faith journey help us to follow Jesus? How do we recognize and understand God's presence and action in a world of chaos and confusion? What is our "way," the path of discipleship that is most faithful, passionate and enlightened?
Marty Haugen is a musician, composer, author and clinician with international stature. His numerous hymns are widely sung in almost every parish in the English speaking world.
